He said her to stand outside by herself at night near an alley behind her home.

Officers from the Richardson Police Department have sent out a Child Abduction Alert and are searching for 3-year-old, Sherin Mathews. He later told detectives he knew coyotes were seen in the area where he left his daughter. They also noted that the back of the home faces train tracks. In spite of the darkness, her father said he was disciplining his child over the milk she refused to drink.

Sherin Mathews, the girl, is still missing after her disappearance was reported at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Richardson Police Sgt. Kevin Perlich said, according to Fox Carolina. Neither child had been in foster care prior to this week, and Richardson police had not been to the family's house before. So far, authorities have no leads.

Investigators confiscated three vehicles, cellphones and laptops from the family to aid the investigation.

Late Saturday, investigators towed two SUVs and a minivan from the home as part of a search for "any potential evidence". He has since been released on a $250,000 bond.

"That does not seem like a normal response that one would do if you have a missing child", Sgt Perlich said.

Mathews reportedly returned to get his daughter about 15 minutes later and discovered she was gone, according to the affidavit. "She's 3'0", weighs 22 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

She is described as Asian and was last seen wearing a pink top, black pajama bottoms and pink flip flops. They finally gave birth to a baby girl, who is a year older than Sherin, a report said.
