Did this new 'Justice League' trailer tease the return of Superman

The latest trailer for Warner Bros.'s follow-up to "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" dropped at New York Comic Con Sunday, and showed the world under attack from possibly alien invaders. The scene was also a clear homage to Superman: The Movie - appealing to the more "traditional" Superman fans.

The release date is November 17.

With the new Justice League trailer set to arrive tomorrow morning at 9 AM EST, Warner Bros.

While fans will have to wait, it seems like it will be worth it to finally see the true version of the Justice League together for the first time.

Here it is! The final Trailer for Justice League! Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns produced the film, with Jim Rowe, Wesley Coller, Curtis Kanemoto, Chris Terrio and Ben Affleck serving as executive producers.

In it, you get to see more of the Justice League working together as a team and more of the bleak "we can't beat them" tone from the previous trailers. When juxtaposed with the scene from the 1978 film in which a young Clark Kent tells Martha he needs to head north, we can see certain interesting elements.

The new trailer has a cover of David Bowie's "Heroes" played throughout it.

Justice League hits theaters November 17.

The film will have Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Raymond Fisher, Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller sharing the big-screen.

The world left helpless without Superman, and the reason Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg have to join forces, as they're up against an enemy too powerful for any of them to take on alone.
