Spoilers: Updated Card For NXT Takeover: WarGames

WWE have also announced that NXT Champion Drew McIntyre will defend his title against Andrade "Cien" Almas in TakeOver: WarGames' co-main event.

WWE is continuing its trend of dipping into the WCW well.

NXT had an awesome show last night and a few unbelievable matches were booked for the next TakeOver special emanating from Houston. The match was last used in 2000 on WCW Monday Nitro.

Both of the rings were covered by a large cage and every five minutes a new member would enter from one of the teams randomly. Hell in a Cell borrowed the fully enclosed structure but increased its size to include the ringside area; Elimination Chamber took on the concept of staggered wrestlers being introduced inside an enclosed structure, though Elimination Chambers are singles matches with all wrestlers in their own separate pods.

For the first time since 1998, WarGames returns to professional wrestling in North America. The battle royal should air on the October 25th NXT episode. The War Games match was originally created by Dusty Rhodes and debuted at NWA's Great American Bash '87 before becoming a yearly event under the WCW banner as part of Fall Brawl.

The new NXT Women's Champion will be crowned following a Fatal-4 Way Match that will feature the victor of the inaugural Mae Young Classic, Kairi Sane.
