New Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon trailer and details

Pokémon's upcoming enhanced re-releases of Sun and Moon will let you travel through a wormhole and visit the mysterious world where the series' new Ultra Beasts originated. Though all four will appear in both games, Dulse and Zossie will play the large role in Ultra Sun, while Soliera and Phyco will primarily hang out in Ultra Moon.

It's all a bit weird and doesn't have our resident Pokémon experts terribly convinced. Each Ultra Beast comes packing the Beast Boost ability. There are three Ultra Beasts previewed: UB Adhesive, a pure poison type Pokemon; the fire/ghost dual-type UB Burst; and finally, UB Assembly, which has the interesting type combination of rock and steel. It's more action oriented and dramatic for Pokemon trailer. The main requirement is that Pokemon have to have a black clover on their summary screen to denote that they've been caught in the Alola region.

After last year's successful release of "Pokemon Sun and Moon", Nintendo has not released or even said much about the next title in the franchise.

The trailer also introduced three new Ultra Beasts, each with freaky designs and a new move to boot. Legendary Pokemon Necrozma was actually the one responsible for the world's darkness. The Ultra Recon Squad brought one such Ultra Beast with them, codenamed "UB Adhesive". According to Nintendo, the new area is "a world that has had its light stolen by Necrozma".

Introduced in Sun and Moon, Ultra Beasts are extradimensional Pokémon with - shall we say - outlandish designs.
