Heather Locklear 'suffers minor injuries' in auto crash

Actress Heather Locklear has returned home from the hospital and told fans she's doing OK after crashing her Porsche in a ditch Thursday evening.

They added that neither drugs nor alcohol appeared to be involved in the vehicle crash.

The "Melrose Place" actress was not under the influence of drugs and alcohol in the Thousand Oaks, Ca. crash, law enforcement sources told TMZ. "Hooker", has been hospitalized after driving her auto into a ditch, according to Page Six.

Locklear's injuries are said to be minor.

While Locklear has battled addiction issues in the past, police stated that not drugs or alcohol were inside the star's system at the time of the collision.

The DUI charges were eventually dropped and she was sentenced three years of probation and required to take a DMV driver safety.

The District Attorney at the time said the incident was due to a combination of prescription medications used for anxiety and depression.

"She was alert and cooperative with deputies", Buschow said. In January, amid reports that she had checked herself into rehab again, Locklear issued a statement to Us to clear up the rumors.

The actress's latest incident comes shortly after her first public appearance in months on September 9, when she was seen in Beverly Hills attending a Tex-Mex Fiesta event at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.
