Final Fantasy XV goes sci-fi with super-powered exosuits

This latest update will be followed on Thursday, August 3, by the closed online test for the Final Fantasy 15 multiplayer expansion: Comrades. Once invincibility has worn off, players can continue to wear the exosuits in-game.

Take on the game's toughest bosses with the Magitek Exosuits-for 30 minutes a day, these will grant invincibility.

The new costumes were included in today's free update.

When Square Enix first showed off the Magitek Exosuits for Final Fantasy XV, they looked enough like the new Power Rangers movie that they warranted a redesign. Coming in at version 1.13, the update's most notable addition is that of the new Magitek Armor, which has been toned down quite a bit from the very Power Renger-y aesthetic we saw when Square Enix first showed it off.

New quest (s) have been added to Meldacio Hunter HQ (after Chapter 8).

The limited time content "Moogle Chocobo Carnival" returns. Players can really dish out some punishment if they use this system well, and those who manage to get the most out of it will even earn a new Achievement/Trophy. The Cross Chain collab system will be available once players acquire two Royal Arms: Sword of the Wise and Axe of the Conqueror. To participate, players must simply have the Season Pass and a PlayStation Plus/Xbox Live Gold Membership.
