Bandai Namco didn't confirm if Trunks would be part of the beta - at least, not yet - but with the San Diego Comic-Con event happening later this week, we could get a list of available fighters very soon, probably closer to the registration date.

It is possible that images of the new characters could leak before July 21st.

In an interview with Shonen Gamez at EVO 2017, Hiroki, alongside Arc System Works director and technical artist Junya Motomura, revealed more Dragon Ball FighterZ details.

Vegeta, the Saiyan's crown prince and Trunks' father, has also been added to the roster. This includes the monster-sucking Cell, Majin Buu, and the villain in its super villain form, Frieza.

There is a barrage of information that was released during the EVO 2017.

But that's not all - a lucky few of you will actually be able to play this game months before it's scheduled to drop early next year.

So far, it is not clear if the characters will have other costumes aside from the one that they are using.

Following the announcement of Dragon Ball FighterZ for PC and consoles, it was mentioned by producer Tomoko Hiroki that the game could be coming to Nintendo Switch with enough demand, as the console is more than capable of running it properly. In the different gameplay released for the game, fans are more drawn to a title that offers exciting gameplay and visuals as well as unusual moves. We first heard about Trunks joining the cast in June, but now it's time to see what he's made of.
