Marching band treats Trump to 'Get Lucky' at Bastille Day parade

Donald Trump met with French President Emmanuel Macron today - and a musical tragedy ensued.

The military band, looking sharp and correct in uniform, played an excerpt from the electronic duo's 2013 hit Get Lucky as the presidents and first ladies watch from a platform.

Macron, meanwhile, appears to be the figure of Bastille Day joy - and is seen grinning throughout the performance.

A military brass band played music of electro group Daft Punk in front of the presidents and first ladies of France and the USA, during Bastille Day celebrations in Paris. The two were treated to an absolutely awesome Daft Punk medley preformed by The French Military Band. Based on his expression, Trump didn't particularly enjoy the brass-heavy combination of "One More Time", "Get Lucky", and "Harder Better Faster Stronger".

As a marching band performed a medley of Daft Punk covers, Trump failed to crack even the faint outline of a smile, unlike Macron who couldn't hide his beam.

Another said: "Do you think this visit was actually just so Macron could troll Trump and subliminally call him a "Daft Punk"?"
