Lenovo's Motorola is working on some exciting new features for the Moto G5S Plus, which will be launched on the 25 of July this year. As the name suggests this will be the second version of Moto G5 Plus which fared well in the market through.

While mobile computing technology is evolving at a fast pace, mobile phone manufacturers have been focusing towards advancements in the camera setup and now Moto is catching up to the dual-camera trend in mid-range smartphones which was started previous year.

The Moto G5S Plus smartphone is also expected to come with a front-facing fingerprint scanner that should work smoothly with biometric security. The device is equipped with the Snapdragon 625 chipset from Qualcomm.

The handset brings 16GB of internal storage with an option to expand further using a microSD card slot. It shows that the Moto G5S Plus may come with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and an all-aluminium body. It includes a 5,000 mAh battery.

The smartphone manufacturer is yet to officially reveal the release date of the Moto G5S Plus but its launch is imminent as more details, including the specifications and live images, have been leaked over the last few weeks. One of the two cameras will have an RGB sensor while the other one would feature a monochrome sensor. In one of the images, the specifications of the Moto G5S Plus are listed on the device's Fastboot flash mode screen.

The new camera hardware will offer improved bokeh or the depth-of-field effect. Meanwhile, there will be some upgrading in the selfie camera as well, as it is expected that an 8-megapixel shooter will be added in the front end.

This leaked device has an EMEA label on it, meaning it is a model meant for sale in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Motorola recently announced the Moto E4 Plus in India.
