OR mother arrested after pulling kids in a wagon behind her vehicle

An Oregon mother has been accused of endangering three young children by towing them behind her auto in a little red wagon.

However, when police arrived, Donahue reportedly did not see what the problem was.

Alana Donahue, 27, wanted to show the children a good time and did not think she was doing anything wrong, according to KGW.

Drivers told police that Donahue was waving vehicles to go around her as she drove in circles through the roundabout.

Springfield police said 27-year-old Alana Donahue was arrested Wednesday night after at least four motorists reported seeing the vehicle pulling the plastic wagon.

Other drivers in the roundabout said Donohue was indignant when they tried to get her to stop and said she told them to "mind their own business".

At least one witness took photos and videos of the incident, the logs state.

Witnesses say they saw Donahue driving her auto with the wagon attached to it by a strap or rope through traffic, police say. One witness told police the toddler began crying after the wagon went up on two wheels.

The children are a boy, 5, and a girl, 3.

When several drivers stopped to confront the mother, she would just drive away.

Police have ruled out drugs or alcohol as factors related to this incident.

Donahue was not intoxicated but the mother was charged with reckless endangerment.

The Department of Human Services placed the children in the care of another family member.
