The Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has warned Nigerians against divisive tendency capable of truncating peace and cause chaos in the country.

This Day newspaper said the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday put in motion the machinery for the payment of N2.7 trillion owed contractors, pensioners and state governments by the Federal Government in the past two decades.

Sahara Reporters had reported that the highly celebrated meeting between Acting President Yemi Osinbajo and ailing President Muhammadu Buhari lasted for five minutes only, claiming that it got the information from a Presidency officials in the know of what transpired between the two leaders at the "Abuja House" in London. They spoke for about an hour.

Speaking further, he said, "I challenge them to prove to us that he is familiar with his environment and that he knows who he is seeing, who he is talking to and what he is saying".

It will be recalled President Buhari on Tuesday summoned Acting President Osinbajo to a meeting with him in the United Kingdom where he is receiving medical attention.

Mr Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant to the Acting President on Media and Publicity, had earlier confirmed in a tweet on his twitter handle that Osinbajo had travelled to London to meet the President but did not give details.

He noted that President Muhammadu Buhari led government has demonstrated high sense of commitment in sustaining unity and togetherness among Nigerian People.
