Beyoncé Introduces Twins Via Instagram, And There Was Much Rejoicing

The singer took to Instagram on Friday to post a snap showing her cradling the tiny new arrivals in her arms and revealed that she gave birth one month ago. Perhaps since they were newborns, the diva chose to avoid any sort of limelight on her twins.

Beyoncé might consider a donation to some baby cause in the name of her pair.

Rumi and Sir Carter are the world-famous couple's second and third children together, as they are parents to Blue Ivy Carter, 5. Reports say that the couple is planning on keeping the names of the babies as they allegedly filed to trademark them in order to protect the names Rumi and Sir Carter.

Jay Z reportedly registered two trademarks "Rumi Carter" and "Sir Carter" in the days after the birth. How cute! We checked her website hoping for more pictures of the shoot.

The twins were born on June 14.

Beyonce, who is one of the most powerful women in the music business, announced the pregnancy on her Instagram account in February along with an image of herself in a lingerie and caressing a noticeable baby bump. "We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes".

The way she wrote "Sir Carter and Rumi" makes it sound like "Sir Carter" is the entire first name of her son. And let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. At publishing time, the photo has been up just an hour and already has 1.9 million faves and thousands of comments. She drops secret albums, she blindsides us with pregnancy announcements, and she's managed to keep her marriage seemingly rock solid through years when nobody thought she and JAY-Z could possibly pull through.
