Rap group Migos removed from Delta flight leaving Atlanta

The popular rap trio Migos were reportedly on the receiving end of some ill-treatment from Delta on Friday evening. However, there was some sort of issue and they were booted. In a video obtained by the celeb gossip site, a Delta rep explains that the captain made a decision to remove Migos member Takeoff.

Reportedly Takeoff's bag was on the ground and not in an overhead bin.

When Takeoff's bag was still on the floor when the plane was on the runway, the pilot aborted takeoff, taxied back to the gate, and had the rapper thrown off, his manager told TMZ. A video of Migos' manager speaking with a Delta representative in the jetway after they were kicked off the plane was also obtained by TMZ.

The flight returned to the gate because Migos repeatedly refused to follow crew member instructions to buckle seatbelts and stow carry-on in overhead bins. The group was flying to perform at a concert in Des Moines, Iowa.

Delta says the members of Migos were rebooked on another flight, which arrived at 9:00pm.

A later Instagram post by Migos suggests that Delta gave Migos the use of an entire aircraft to fly them to Des Moines. He further claims that they fell asleep in their seats and never heard the instructions.

The manager believes the rap group was racially profiled. As their concert started at 10 p.m., this would have been a close call.

A video of the incident is included below and viewers are warned that some strong language has not been "beeped".
