Samuel L Jackson's Nick Fury Coming Back for Captain Marvel

SHIELD boss and Avengers recruiter Nick Fury was one of the first recurring characters introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and has appeared in six movies since his debut in 2008's Iron Man.

So, nothing officially official, perhaps, but if Deadline's running with that, it's probably safe to say it's a go. If anything, it'd be a little weird if there weren't some MCU crossover happening there. I'm always open and game.

We haven't had a decent Nick Fury appearance in over three years. For a while, it wasn't clear what the future would bring for the character after that, particularly after it was revealed that he was not cast in the upcoming Black Panther.

Nick Fury will reportedly appear in Captain Marvel

Marvel Studios hasn't made an official announcement, but sources close to the movie confirm to EW that Jackson will be making a comeback alongside star Brie Larson, who plays Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot who finds herself spliced with alien genetics.

Yeah, I'd love to do a Nick Fury movie. How the hell does that work? No matter how famous they are now thanks to the MCU, there was a time before these actors and actress were famous, and a new video highlights just what they were doing before you even knew who they were.

Well, technically they will reunite for the third Avengers movie before Captain Marvel headlines her solo adventure on March 8, 2019, since Carol Danvers will reportedly be introduced in Infinity War.
