New Transformers: The Last Knight Trailer Brings the Bayhem

Paramount has launched a new full-length trailer for Michael Bay's latest Transformers sequel, titled Transformers: The Last Knight. And then you can go watch Transformers: The Last Knight when it hits theaters June 23. And did you notice that Mark Wahlberg is in the mix in that last shot, perched on Optimus's chest?

Transformers: The Last Knight stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci and Isabela Moner.

The trailer, which will be attached to Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" this weekend, reveals more about Moner's character, Izzy, who has seen very little screen time in previous trailers.

Earlier this week, a new clip from the movie was released, which introduced a new Autobot called Canopy. Look, I'm all for female empowerment and coming from Transformers, a series that's made a habit out of objectifying women, it's definitely a step in the right direction.

In a way, this may be going back to the franchise's roots, since it all started with a young boy and his robot tale in the first Transformers.
