Trump to seek Merkel's advice in dealing with Putin and Ukraine conflict
After their meeting, Trump and Merkel are expected to hold a joint press conference. He once said what she did in Germany with refugees was "insane".

As for Merkel, she has so far carefully avoided any overt confrontation with the USA president, promising to judge Trump on his actions rather than his words.

Many European allies have been rattled by Trump's positive statements about Putin and the meeting will come amid questions about Trump associates' connections to Russian Federation.
