$3 million in jewels missing from Drake, Future tour bus

The hip-hop star is now on the joint Summer Sixteen Tour with Future, and as the pair performed at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday night (06Sep16) a thief targeted their tour bus. "Between 10 p.m. and 10:15 p.m., a suspect boarded the bus and removed a briefcase containing an estimated $3 million in jewelry and property".

This is technically accurate, since the jewelry was all owned by his DJ Future the Prince, but obviously the videographer was referring to the whole incident happening on his tour and tour bus.

Drake and Future will continue their Summer Sixteen tour by returning to the Staples Center Friday evening (Sept. 9) and will conclude at New Jersey's Prudential Center next month. 21 year old Travion King has been arrested and charged with the theft from 201 E Jefferson Street.

Surveillance footage assisted with identifying King who has done contract work with local venues in the past. While Future and Drake may have run into a bit of a snag during their current tour stop, this will not prevent them from heading to their next scheduled location.

Now that the jewelry has been recovered, Drake is free to focus on other things, namely music.

Police say he found his way into Drake's tour bus on Tuesday as he performed at the arena.

Someone ripped off Future the Prince, Drake's tour DJ, and Drizzy isn't happy about it.

A representative for Drake declined to comment on the case on Wednesday.
