Convicted Rapist Brock Turner Is Now Registered as a Sex Offender

Turner registered as expected in Greene County outside Dayton after being released last week from a jail in California, an official with the Greene County sheriff's office said.

Police took a complaint Monday about cars passing in front of Turner's home and pictures being taken, according to copies of incident reports associated with the Turners' address.

Meanwhile, Persky has started gathering support for an anti-recall campaign, launched earlier this week.

"He's not gonna live some happy, pleasant life", another told radio station WHIO.

Persky didn't respond to requests for comment Friday and hasn't responded to numerous requests since Turner's sentencing.

Convicted sexual assailant Brock Turner is back home in OH after serving about three months in jail in California. The Sheriff's Office operates the county jails.

Brock Turner leaves the Santa Clara County Main Jail in San Jose, Calif., on Friday, Sept. 2, 2016. He is now serving three years' probation. OH law calls for sex offenders to register for at least 15 years after release.

She urged Persky to disregard the probation officer's recommendation of straight probation, based on findings that Turner was considered low risk to reoffend and had already endured great losses. Prosecutors asked for six years. In June, Judge Aaron Persky sentenced Turner to six months for sexually assaulting an unconscous woman behind a fraternity house dumpster, arguing that a longer prison time would "severely impact" the 20-year old, at the time a promising athlete on the Stanford swim team. Two men on bicycles who witnessed the crime stopped Turner and held him until authorities arrived. In fact, new policies to reduce crowding are partly why Turner's actual time served was only about half of his sentence. "He sees good college boys who got drunk and made a mistake".

While Turner's parents are now concerned for their son's safety, they haven't shown much concern for their son's victim. Turner had been sentenced to six months in jail after being convicted of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman back in January of 2015. OH is a traditional open carry state.

But it will hopefully comfort you in the knowledge that his victim seems like the sort of woman who will recover from his act and maybe even use her disgusting history to help others.
