This is huge news for the Call of Duty scene, who have been skeptical at best of the new Infinite Warfare multiplayer changes. You can check out the world premiere trailer below, debuted during Call of Duty XP, alongside a multiplayer overview and a gameplay trailer for Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer.

A common theme for betas over the a year ago is to deliver multiple beta codes to each player who pre-ordered.

Activision confirms a Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta that will allow gamers to play the multiplayer portion early on PS4 and Xbox One. It's the closest Call Of Duty gets to an official convention, but it's also where Activision has been showing off Infinite Warfare's multiplayer mode for the first time. To put more emphasis on abilities, Infinite Warfare gets a new system, "rigs", which are basically classes with unique themed active "payloads" and passive "traits".

The Activision CEO said that the combination of the two games was really what has driven them. From September 2-4, thousands of fans from the global Call of Duty community will assemble at the Forum in Inglewood, California for a three-day Call of Duty immersion.

The company stated that fans who pre-order the game on PS4 on sites like will get first access to the Beta. Of course, in order to play the mission, you'll need a PlayStation VR headset, which launches October 13.

Call of Duty is a first-person shooter, a type of action game where players view combat from a first-person perspective. The first 10 will be available at launch and the remaining six will follow, for free, in December.

The Call of Duty franchise has been the top-selling console and PC video game property in the USA for six straight years, according to research firm NPD Group.

The game will officially launches on November 4, 2016.
