City acquires goalie Bravo from Barcelona on 4-year deal

The Chile international's transfer to City has been confirmed just hours after Barcelona confirmed the capture of his replacement Jasper Cillessen from Ajax.City have forked out £17million on Bravo following Pep Guardiola's decision to deem Hart surplus to requirements.

Bravo played for Colo Colo in his native Chile until 2006, when he joined Spain's Real Sociedad on the recommendation of Xabier Mancisidor, who is now City's goalkeeping coach.

The England keeper has subsequently lost his place in the starting line up to his deputy, Willy Caballero, and his importance at the club has dipped even farther following Man City's capture of Barcelona keeper Claudio Bravo on Thursday.

"Outside of the charade and all the rubbish that is talked we are dealing with it like men and we are going to come up with a solution".

"The club will help him find the best option". Some of them we have taken a decision on and they know that and their managers know that.

"If all four stay here, the best solution is for everybody to be involved in our idea".

"They are going to be in rotation, part of that. The situation is not easy right now".

Hart started for City in their UEFA Champions League play-off second leg with Steaua Bucharest on Wednesday and was given a rousing reception by the Etihad crowd.

Asked about his future, Hart said: "It's not for me to say". It still remains to be seen whether Hart will stay at City or Opt for a move elsewhere.

The 2016/17 arrival of Pep Guardiola in Manchester has however put a kink in Hart's plans.

Guardiola has returned to his former club to recruit a keeper whose CV is already decorated with La Liga and Champions League success. "Some good and some bad, but I try to be honest." he said. I was 13 years old when I went to their academy and promoted to a professional player and trainer.

"I spent most of my life there. The people must follow me".

Joe Hart was full of smiles during what could be his last appearance for Manchester City.

"They will check (test) our level, our current level". And Lawrenson thinks Jurgen Klopp should jump at the chance to sign the England worldwide, who he thinks is better than Simon Mignolet, Loris Karius and Alex Manninger put together. We need some time.
