As for the specs, rumors have it that the new Motorola Moto G 4 will sport a 5.5-inch display with 1080p Full HD resolution.

According to Phone Arena, the Motorola Moto G4 Plus will be announced at the same event next week, alongside the Moto G4. The premium variant, the Moto G4 Plus, packs no less than 3 GB of RAM, the same 5-megapixel camera for selfies and videochats and 32 GB of standard storage.

Moto G4, which is the fourth generation device in Moto's highly successful mid-range series, is expected to come with new features like NFC, a fingerprint scanner and better battery life. Even the availability of phones like the OnePlus X have not been able to limit the popularity of the third-generation Moto G. It was a highly successful phone offering class leading features in an attractive package.

Meanwhile, India Today reported that the Moto X 2016 will come in two variants, which have codenames, Vertex and Vector. The two smartphones have been leaked on several occasions ahead of their launch, and now we have one more leak coming our way that tips the specifications of the Moto G4 smartphone via a benchmark listing.

The White Touch Digitizer LCD Display Assembly for the upcoming Moto G4 was listed for sale on the eBay Germany website. Also, it is clear that there is a cutout at the front for a physical home button to integrate the fingerprint scanner. The render was leaked as a part of a slideshow that is not public anymore. Of course, earlier rumours might still hold, and we could be looking at a 2GB RAM 16GB storage G4, with a 3GB/32GB G4 Plus.

Another upgrade comes in the form of a 16-megapixel main camera that replaces the 13-megapixel rear snapper from the Moto G4.

About the smartphone there are not much other details available except that it is likely to be run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
