Kate Middleton reveals special bond with Queen

What do you get the woman who has everything - including the throne of a major world power?

But in a recent interview with ITV-the Duchess's very first solo chat since becoming royalty-Kate implies she too, is human and imperfect.

Kate also revealed that the Queen has been "generous and not forceful at all in her views".

In the rare interview, which forms part of a televised documentary celebrating Her Majesty The Queen's upcoming milestone 90th birthday, the Duchess said that after mulling over the problem, she eventually turned to her own grandmother's chutney recipe and handcrafted her Christmas gift. "And I think as soon as we came back here to Kensington, she was one of our first visitors", Middleton explains. "But I chose to make my granny's recipe of chutney" - a spicy condiment usually made with fruits and vinegar, originally from India. That doesn't necessarily mean she liked it. Kate will be surrounded by her brood and spend the day privately, most likely with her side of the family, the Middletons.
