OnePlus 2 update to Oxygen OS 2.2.1 arriving, with changelog

Most of the OnePlus 2 community is waiting for the Android Marshmallow update for their devices as most of the flagships have got the Marshmallow update now. The update brings significant camera update, some bug fixes and under the hood improvements to offer optimal performance. That being said, both of these phones can now be purchased without and invite, and the OnePlus 2 has been permanently discounted a couple of weeks ago.

The biggest feature in the OxygenOS 2.2.1 update for OnePlus 2 is the RAW support for the OnePlus camera.

Through a couple of software updates (this one and the previous OxygenOS 2.2.0 update), the OnePlus 2 camera received a manual mode and support for RAW photography, two very important features for photography enthusiasts. At the top of our list is RAW support for the device's camera, but there's something here for everyone. Image corruption issues in the OnePlus camera have also been resolved.

OnePlus has also brought the GMS 3.0 upgrade and support for the Romanian language.

The new OS version also features improvements in Bluetooth compatibility, roaming issues, and Ultra-SIM compatibility. Now the OTA (over-the-air) OnePlus 2 Oxygen 2.2.1 update has begun rolling out. There is also a security patch but details about this haven't been provided.

As you might expect, the rollout will be incremental, so it may take a few days (or even weeks) for the update to reach your OnePlus 2 unit.
