Mortal Kombat X: New DLC Kombat Pack 2 Info and…

Mortal Kombat X launched in April 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC and has reportedly sold more than 5 million copies worldwide.

The week wraps up with the biggest release of the week with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for Wii U, which offers the definitive experience for the game.

NetherRealm studios revealed that the new characters in Kombat Pack 2 of Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat XL will be released on March 1.

Previously, NetherRealm released Jason Voorhees, Predator, Tanya, and Tremor as Mortal Kombat X DLC characters.

Pre-ordering Mortal Kombat XL gets you the Cosplay Pack, which allows female fighters Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs to dress up as the likes of Sub-Zero and Scorpion. The latter is yet to be released and it will come along with new playable characters that include the Xenomorph from "Alien," Leatherface from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", Tri-borg, and Bo'Rai Cho.

Existing Mortal Kombat X owners have a couple of options.

As seen in the image above, the XL Pack contains all of the addition characters, costumes and fatalities featured in the full XL edition of the game. If you never bought any of the game's DLC, the XL Pack gets you Kombat Pack 1 and 2 for $25. For those who will be pre-ordering "Mortal Kombat XL", they will get the Cosplay Pack.

Apart from adding new content, patch 1.12 will also be providing support for all the upcoming downloadable content (DLC) coming to "Mortal Kombat X". The developer has not yet announced if the skin pack will become available on PC.

The four new characters will only be available once you purchase the Kombat Pack 2. It's a bummer, but if you want to stay current with Mortal Kombat, you'll have to play on console.
